The Regulation Construction Products 305/2011 is focused on the safety of construction products. Construction products that are placed on the EU market must meet the essential characteristics. These characteristics are laid down in harmonised technical specifications with regard to the basic requirements for construction works. The basic requirements refer to: mechanical resistance and stability, fire safety, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility when used, protection against noise pollution, heat retention energy, and sustainable use of natural resources.
